A Global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier Streamlines Data Sharing & Improves Data Governance with Oracle PLM Cloud

Client Background and Business Context

The customer is a Tier 1 automotive and mobility supplier headquartered in Detroit, operating over 80 facilities in 18 countries. The organization designs, engineers, and manufactures driveline and metal-forming technologies to support electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.

The customer wanted to establish standard business processes to exchange data between legacy their systems, including Team Center, the Cost Request System, and EBS, within the Driveline business unit. They required the automation and streamlining of current data entry processes through the disciplines of Master Data Management, along with enabling business process improvements using interconnected data and seamless integrations. The organization also needed analytical data that supports proper governance and discipline, flexibility to accommodate new feature requests, and the establishment of data governance processes and business rules to ensure consistent and well-controlled operations.

Trinamix partnered with the customer to implement Product Data Hub as the single source of truth, establish robust data governance rules and validations, enable seamless integrations across legacy systems, and streamline data accuracy, collaboration, and entry processes.
