They required an automated solution to link the retailer’s e-commerce platform, Shopify, with ITOCHU LOGISTICS (USA) CORP’s warehouse management system, Oracle WMS Cloud. The aim was to automate order fulfillment and provide accurate, real-time inventory updates from WMS Cloud to Shopify. Previously, the manual inventory update process resulted in inaccurate order promising to customers. Additionally, shipping requests from Shopify to WMS Cloud were handled manually, which led to delays and increased the risk of errors.
