Solution Overview

Trinamix CADFusion connects multiple MCAD and ECAD platforms with Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM, enabling centralized product data management across engineering disciplines. It supports MCAD solutions including SolidWorks, PTC Creo, CATIA, Siemens NX, Siemens Solid Edge, and Autodesk Inventor, along with ECAD solutions including Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Cadence OrCAD, and Siemens EDA. This solution enables bidirectional synchronization between CAD/PDM systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM’s Product Development (PD) module through a REST API-based, event-driven architecture requiring no on-premise middleware. From the engineering environment into Oracle Product Development Cloud, Trinamix CADFusion synchronizes mechanical and electrical BOM structures, CAD files, schematics, PCB data, attachments, and item attributes. From Oracle PD back to source systems, approved lifecycle states, item numbers, metadata updates, and revision markups are propagated automatically. It also supports Engineering Change Order (ECO) synchronization, linking design change events in the CAD/PDM environment directly to Oracle PD change workflows for end-to-end traceability. 

Engineering data is consolidated within Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM for governance while approved states and metadata flow back to source systems. By bridging MCAD and ECAD environments, Trinamix CADFusion eliminates data silos, reduces manual handoffs, minimizes revision errors, and accelerates time-to-manufacture within a unified PLM framework. It is particularly suited to electronics, semiconductor, industrial equipment, and medical device manufacturers managing complex multi-discipline product structures.
